Atlanta run clubs: every weekly group run, by day
Every recurring Atlanta-area group run we could verify straight from the club's own site, its Instagram or Facebook bio, or Atlanta Track Club, the BeltLine, and Big Peach Running Co.'s own community-run pages — organized by day of the week and neighborhood so you can find one that actually fits your schedule.
Checked 4 Sep 2026. Group runs change meeting spots and times often — when a detail wasn't stated anywhere we could verify, the entry says “check their page” instead of guessing.

How to pick one
Start with the day and neighborhood, not the club's reputation — a great run club across town on the wrong night is one you'll never make it to twice, and twice is the whole game. Filter above, then check three things on the club's own page before you go: the meeting spot (a lot of these move week to week along the BeltLine), whether there's a slower or run-walk pace group, and whether it's a bar, brewery or coffee shop start, since that's usually where the actual conversation happens, not the running itself.
Monday
Atlanta Run Club's flagship run starts the week at Ponce City Market, Black Men Run Atlanta and Atlanta Trail Runners both go out early in Grant Park, and Halfway Crooks turns its own taproom into a start line. Mindful Miles (Chamblee) and Run Smyrna give the northern and western suburbs a Monday option without driving intown.
Tuesday
Tuesday is the BeltLine-and-brewery night: adidas Runners starts at BrewDog on Krog Street, Atlanta Track Club's long-running Club Night gathers in Piedmont Park, and Highland Runners does the same in Virginia-Highland. Buckhead Run Club and Big Peach's Midtown store round out the west side of the map, with Brookhaven covering the north.
Wednesday
The busiest night on this list. November Project Atlanta's free 6:27 a.m. workout meets on the BeltLine bridge near Ponce City Market for early risers; in the evening, Front Runners Atlanta and Girls Who Run ATL both start near John Howell Park and The Victorian, Fleet Feet Decatur runs from its own storefront, and West Midtown Run Club and Run! East Atlanta Village cover their namesake neighborhoods.
Thursday
Atlanta Track Club and the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership co-host BeltLine Run Club, rotating each week among the Eastside, Westside, Northside and Southside Trails — check their page for that week's brewery or restaurant meeting point. South Fulton Run Club and Cabbagetown Running Club give the south and east side of the city standing Thursday options.
Friday
The lightest night for group runs: Atlanta Trail Runners' Friday edition, out of Virginia-Highland, is the one we could verify as a genuine weekly Friday run rather than a one-off.
Saturday
Atlanta Run Club returns to Ponce City Market for its Saturday run, Front Runners Atlanta and Black Men Run Atlanta both hold biweekly-to-weekly Saturday mornings, and the Atlanta Hash House Harriers keep their own tradition going at a rotating location — check their page, since “hash” start times move around more than a typical run club's.
Sunday
Movers and Pacers meets at Atlantic Station, The Pulse Run Club and Run! East Atlanta Village both hold Sunday mornings near their weekday spots, and Atlanta Run Club closes its own week at Cam Kirk Studios.
A run club is a great first third place. It isn't a friend group by itself.
A standing weekly run gets you two things a friend group actually needs — a fixed time and place, and low enough stakes to show up without an invitation. What it doesn't guarantee is that you end up next to the same three or four people twice; a club of thirty can mean you're a familiar face in a pack for months without anyone becoming a friend. Our piece on why run clubs became Atlanta's default third place covers that mechanism in full, and the wider Atlanta third places directory covers everywhere else in the city that works the same way.
Common questions
What are some running clubs in Atlanta?
Some of the largest and longest-running are Atlanta Run Club (four runs a week, starting at Ponce City Market), Atlanta Track Club's Club Night and BeltLine Run Club, Front Runners Atlanta, Black Men Run Atlanta, November Project Atlanta, and Highland Runners in Virginia-Highland. Atlanta Run Club, Atlanta Track Club's Club Night, BeltLine Run Club and November Project all state on their own pages that there's no fee or sign-up; the others don't list a cost, so check their page before you go.
Is Atlanta Run Club free?
Yes. Atlanta Run Club's own site describes all four of its weekly runs — Monday at Ponce City Market, Wednesday in Atlanta Chinatown, Saturday back at Ponce City Market, and Sunday at Cam Kirk Studios — as open to all levels with no sign-up required, and lists no fee for any of them.
Where do run clubs meet in Atlanta?
The heaviest concentration is on and around the BeltLine — Ponce City Market, Old Fourth Ward, the Eastside and Westside Trails — plus Virginia-Highland, Piedmont Park, Buckhead, Decatur, West Midtown, Brookhaven, and South Fulton. Most start at a brewery, coffee shop, or running store rather than a park entrance, which is also where the post-run social hour happens.
Do I need to be fast to join an Atlanta run club?
No. Atlanta Run Club's own site says walking is welcome and the runs are open to all levels; Front Runners Atlanta describes itself as open to all with no minimum requirements; and Atlanta Track Club's BeltLine Run Club is explicitly built for people of all ages and abilities. Pace-anxiety is the exception among these listings, not the rule — check each club's own page if you want a stated pace group before you show up.

The Atlanta third places directory covers trivia bars, food halls and work clubs alongside the run-club picks; the Atlanta clubs directory filters just the trivia nights and supper clubs; and why run clubs became Atlanta's default third place has the data behind the boom.
